Beneath the Surface

Beneath the Surface

Covering two-thirds of our planet, the oceans are full of spectacular wonders, and what happens beneath their surfaces can be quite a spectacle, but who says you have to brave the depth of the oceans to discover the amazing secrets they hold? While in the UAE, you can take in the sights of the captivating aquatic life on our planet without even getting your feet wet. By planning a trip to one of the aquariums and underwater zoos spread across the county, you will be able to get up close and personal with sharks, rays and other gorgeous sea creatures ranging from colourful fish to sea turtles. We scoured the country to find all the aquariums you can visit.

The Lost Chambers в Atlantis, The Palm

Located with the five-star Atlantis Hotel, The Lost Chambers is a theme aquarium based on the mysterious ruins of Atlantis, lost for thousands of years deep beneath the sea. Here you will be surrounded by 65,000 marine animals as you explore the underwater mazes and tunnels of this lost civilization while encountering sharks, eels, seahorses, and piranhas. There are over 20 remarkable marine life exhibits in this Dubai aquarium including a touch tank and an interactive Aquatheatre show.
Marine Educators invite you on a guided tour of The Lost Chambers Aquarium, scheduled hourly throughout the day. These interactive tours give further insights into the legend of Atlantis, traditions of the Seven Sages and amazing facts about the marine life that inhabits this Dubai aquarium.
Fish Feedings, Ultimate Dive Experience, Ultimate Snorkelling, Aquatheatre and Behind The Scenes Tours are some of the activities that add to the interactive experience for visitors.
